  • I reserve the right to make prints of selected works. Unfortunately I am simply unable to stock prints of every single painting, it’s just not possible because of the frequency with which I release paintings and overall audience interest. But when I do hear this comment on particular works it helps let me know that there is interest for the work to be released as prints.

✶general

  • I am primarily an acrylic painter and I prefer painting on cradled wooden panels, which can be bought at any regular art supply store. Lately I’ve been using Liquitex Gesso and Liquitex Clear Gesso to prep these panels. I create my works using only Golden Heavy Body Acrylic Paints and water with Princeton Select Brushes.

  • No, please do not repost/reupload artwork to your own accounts or other social media platforms. Whether you have credited me or not, I may ask you to remove any and all reuploads of my work. Please respect this boundary.

  • Mostly yes, I have tattoo tickets in my shop here which are $35 each. Before purchase I ask that you send me an email and inquire if the desired work is available. Some work including commissions are not available as tattoo tickets.

  • Yes, my commissions are usually open. If you are interested, please send me an email.

The minimum size I paint for personal commissioned works is 8”x8” (¾” profile depth) which starts at $600 USD plus tax + shipping. In rare circumstances both the size and budget can be flexible.
I am also open to tattoo design commissions, and digital illustrations. Please inquire for rates. I Also offer pet portraits in the form of the pet portrait keychain/ornaments/magnets.

  • Yes, I attended SCAD and graduated with a BFA in Illustration with a concentration Surface Design and a minor in Painting. I gained valuable experience and knowledge there, but art school is not a required prerequisite for being a working artist or even an artist at all, all it takes is you and your will to create.

  • I generally prefer to identify with the phrase “body of work” to communicate the paintings I’m making. I think it shifted my understanding of art to be more of an act that I partake in to express ideas and less of an inherent part of my self-identity.

That being said, the path I followed to find myself where I am now included at least a decade long practice of painting landscapes that would become the foundation of my current work. In high school my mother and I would often attend plein air painting sessions with a group from the Wallkill River Center for the Arts and paint with them across rural and historic landscapes in the Hudson Valley. In college, I retained my love for landscapes and continued painting them outside of assignments.
I spent a long time working to hone my skills at painting realistic landscapes before slowly moving towards brighter and more saturated scenes, although this wasn’t really a conscious decision. Learning to draw digitally helped me grow significantly in this area as the digital color wheel was so much more varied and saturated than the tubes of paint I had been using.

  • They mean a lot of things to me, and I say that with complete sincerity.
I encourage you to find your own meaning in my little stars.
